HOW WE STARTED

Chefs Market was birthed by a young 22 years old culinary enthusiast and self taught chef in 2018 who discovered his passion for cooking after migrating to Lagos in 2013. His passion for cooking geared him to want to pursue a culinary education but he couldn’t as he was only working as a cleaner at a fast food restaurant at that time. Following his willingness to want to become a Chef, he started buying cookbooks, watching tutorials and following Chefs on social media; the need to start buying ingredients to practice arose and that became a problem for him as he wasn’t around a network of chefs to ask about where an all in one chefs store is located. He knew he wouldn’t be the only one with that challenge and so he thought of creating an online store where culinary tools, equipment, apparel and groceries will be sold. That was how Chefs Market was born.
